The Replacement of Air Filter

Replacement cycle:
Generally advise to make replacement per 15,000km, but if often work in harsh environment (desert or construction site etc), not more than 10,000km.
The service life of air filter:
30,000km for cars and 80,000km for business cars.
The filtration requirement:
High filtration accuracy: separate all big particles (>1- 2 um);
High filtration efficiency: reduce the quantity of particles passing air filter;
Prevent the engine from early wear. Prevent the air flow meter from being damaged;
Low differential pressure ensures the best Air fuel ratio for engine and reduces the filtration loss; large filtration area and high ash volume ensure long service life and low operation cost; Small installation space and compact structure; high wet stiffness prevents the filter element from shriveling and breaking; fire resistance; reliable sealing; nice cost performance. Nonmetallic structure is recycling and is good for environment and storage.
Replacement procedure:
First step:
Open the hood and find the air filter, generally air filter is on the left of the engine, upon the FR wheel LH is a plastic black square box with air filter inside. Gently pulling up the two metal fasteners will open the top cover of air filter. But in some cars fastened the air filter with screws, when we need a proper screwdriver to take them off and take out the filter.
Second step:
Take out the element, if too much dust on the surface, clean it by patting the end face or pouring the compressed air inside and out, but never ever washing. If the air filter has been gravely blocked, replaced with a new one.
Third step:
Completely clean the filter box after the element, because in the box generally accumulated too much dust which seriously affect the engine performance.
